1) Those airbag warning stickers on either side of the sun visors: Can they be removed without leaving a permanent sticky mess?
2) Can the wheels (7-spokers) be safely cleaned with one of the basic spray wheel cleaners (Armor-All Wheel Cleaner, etc.) on the market?
3) While I'm at it - Why does the stock Concert stereo sound so lame, considering how many buttons it has? (rhetorical question.)

Thanks for the input.
Remove the air-bag tags at your own risk - Tag Police may catch you!
Cleaning the wheels with reg. soap (car wash) and water will do just fine. Smack a coat of wax on it when you are done.
Cris
You can try the 3M adhesive remover or something like "goo gone" to remove the adhesive.
The wheels (5 or 7 spoke) get dirty with brake dust really fast. Wax 'em as Cris said, and then plan to wash them once a week so the dust doesn't settle in and start to pit the wheel finish. Might as well have a nice clean car anyway..and the seven spokers look much nicer when they're clean.
The radio sounds amazingly better with the addition of a subwoofer speaker box (even a small one) in the trunk, powered by an amplifier. Check into it if you care about the audio..makes the stock or bose system sound 100% better.
Rich
'98 2.8Q sport
amp, sub, 12 disc fm-mod changer, airbag warning stickers intact, brake dust cleaned today : )

I easily removed my stickers in about 90 sec with a small hair dryer & twissors. It left no smell, or stickyness, or harm to the visors.

The airbag stickers will come off fairly clean if they are warm (park in the sun, or use a hair dryer). Mine did.
Tom Halter
98.5 2.8 QM Pearl/Onyx

If there is any glue left, you can use the sticky side of the sticker as a "pick-up" to blot the remaining glue from the surface. A piece of heavy duty masking tspe will also work.

Some isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol can also remove the adhesive gum without messing up the plastic.
Steve
981.8TQMS
Wheels: The Amour-All Quicksilver/II is great and easy (just remember to rinse it off...). Major timesaver on 5-spokes and I imagine even greater on 7-spokes. Does a better job than I can really do by hand, anyway.
Stereo: I replaced the Delta/Bose unit of my '96 with a Sony CD head unit and added a Sony CD Changer for about $800 (total). Keeps me from having to use an FM modulator, too. Kept the original amps in tact. A powered extended bass driver may be added at sometime, but the car is small enough as it is...
