OK, they are replacing the front bumper shock and reseating the entire assembly, including "pulling out pieces around the unibody . . . " (ya, I asked if they said "around" or "of" tjhe unibody, as I cringe every time I hear that word used in conjunction with a fender bender!).<p>The headlight is pushed back but intact, so we don't need that part. Audi quoted the body shob over $500 for the assembly (they priced this just in case), but Clair came through with a price of $232 for the whole thing if needed. Good thing to know!<p>The bumper cover is OK, just scratched. I asked them to touch up the 1" scrapes on it. Guess she'll never be pristine again . . . . .oh, well.<p>Ah, yes, the perpetrator is paying for this cash out of pocket. Gotta give her credit for that! ;-)
