Schaumberg closed their performance division down....they use to do the modifications to the Audi 90 and 96/97 A4 2.8 12V throttle bodies, but I do not think they do anymore. TAP is the only one that does a modification to the 1.8T engine, but it is only for the serious .....something like their Stage 6 or 7 system. I would really consider all the pros/cons before doing any mods to a 1.8T throttle body.<p>Steve S.<br>97 2.8QM<br>

Other than that obviously poor attempt at humor, the throttle body mods would probably pale in comparison to what the simple chip (i.e. higher boost) would do, so it would not be worth the $$$.<p>Then again, who knows. Maybe the TB is part of what's restricting the high-RPM performance of even chipped 1.8Ts?<p>Your point is well taken . . . .
