I bought my car from one dealer and when I went to have them service my car then did provide me with a loaner, but I moved and my new dealer says that they only provide loaners to people who bought their cars from them too...so no loaner for me now...but I haven't really had any long periods without my car so I usually just wait...I might press the issue if I really need a loaner though.<p>Jason<br>98.5 1.8T pearlescent

My A4 has been in the shop for a week now and I've had a rental for the entire time that Audi is paying for. They mentioned that Audi authorizes a certain amount for a rental car if the customer requires a car and the car will be in the shop for more than a day. <br>I had a Mercury Grand Marquis for 3 days last week, and then the rental company (Enterprise) moved me into a brand new Cadillac DeVille. Lush car!<br>If your car is going to be in the shop for more than a day, make them give you a car. My service department is very good at trying to please it's customers, though, so I didn't even have to ask.<br>JohnS<br>
