Does anyone here have a picture of the wooden shift knob that dealers have been selling (including Clair)? I just want to see if it will match the "atmosphere" that I have. Thanks in advance.

Hi John.
I have been searching for a picture of the Clair wood shift knob also but can not find one. I even emailed Clair, but they could not provide a picture either.
I did find a site with a number of Momo shift knobs (wood, leather, carbon fiber, etc.). Please see the link below. I will pass along the Clair picture if I can find it.
Hope this helps a little.
TGB 1999 1.8T qMS (not arrived in port yet)

Momo Shift Knobs

I also like the Momo; how they look that is, but not how they install using those screws that tighten around the post. If I can find a knob that is smaller and screws on, that would be the best. The Momo just seems to be a bit "taller" than what I intend to use.

Yes! Steve S said to beware of some Momo shift knobs because they are too tall for some peoples liking. He said he has the Momo Anatomico Zebrano wood shift knob and I seem to recall him saying he liked it and it worked fine.
Sorry. Its been a dizzying week at work. I can't remember exactly. You may want to email him directly.
TGB 1.8T qMS

I took a picture of mine today..I'll see if I can manage to figure out this picture poster thing, or email it.
It's an exact match to the pre-98.5 2.8 wood, which is to say darker reddish brown, but I don't know that it would match some of the lighter new "atmospheres."

Rich
'98 2.8Q sport
wood knob (from dealer)
