Hi,<p>I swapped out my stock non-sport 15 inch 8 spokers today for some 17s, and i noticed that the engine oil is running a little hotter in my 98.5 1.8tqm. At normal operating temp, the gauge needle is a bit below the 2nd hash mark, now its sitting a hair to the right of the 2nd hash mark. I'm not chipped and I'm running Mobil 15W-50 synthetic.<p>So is the engine/turbo working harder because the rims are a little heavier? I can feel the engine is working a little bit harder to get going, but would it cause operating temps to be a bit higher? Strange.<p>Any input would be appreciated...thanks!!<p>-steve<br>98.5 1.8tqm
