I saw a Chrysler 300M this weekend and it reminded me how much I like the white gauges in cars like the the Audi S6 and Mercedes SLK. Does anyone have an opinion on how white gauges would look in an A4 2.8? <p>Also, I was thinking about LLtech's "bolted look" aluminum shift knob, but can't decide if it would look good or tacky with the 2.8 interior (i.e. wood trim & ecru leather).<p>BTW, my exterior is cactus green. Just a quick comment on the shift knob--I was also considering the LLtek knob until I realized how cold it would feel in the winter. Don't know where you're at, but that aluminum doesn't feel so good when it's 10 degrees out. Also, I think (IMHO) the aluminum knob finds itself more at home in the TT or in the 1.8T, where it's surrounded by more black than brown wood tones. I elected to go with the wood shift knob from the dealer that's an exact match of the 2.8 wood trim ('98 pre "atmospheres" wood trim)<p>Rich<br>'98 2.8Q sport
