I can get front Rofren pads for $59 at Clairs or front Raybestos pads for the same price at Brake Parts Warehouse. My current brakes don't squeal but I do have the excessive brake dust. I drive hard but I don't race my 2.8 A4. Is there any reason why I should choose one over the other given that they are the same price. I'm leaning toward Rofren since I have ordered from Clair's before and I have had good service from them.
Thanks,
Mark (98.5 2.8 QMS)

I don't think it matters much, I have the Raybestos (garanteed for life). Be sure on the pad that has the prongs you get a tight fit inside the brake piston (I also used a product called brake quiet- sprayed on back of pad)
I had a lot of squeel and chatter until the prongs were in tight - They can be bent easy with needlenose pliers. Tons less dust and stop REAL well.
