A friend of mine wants to dyno his souped-up Mistubishi 300GT VR4 (my friend who was at Thunderhill back on October), and finally found a place with an AWD dyno!<p>It's at Under Pressure R&D in Huntington Beach, California. (714) 842-3338, I spoke with Kevin, the guy who schedules the dyno runs, and he said that they have the only publicly-available AWD dyno in North America!<p>Rates start at $200 for an hour, which includes 3 runs to get a reliable number. You get a bunch of data points at various RPMs so you can make your very own HP curve. That really amazes me, Here in Melbourne Australia I know of 3 AWD Dyno's withing all winthin 20mins drive, i am sure there are more, i just have not looked.<br>And our dyno time rate is about 1/3 of what this place offers.<br>How ever try and buy Audi performance parts here different story, either too expensive, cheaper buy it your self from USA or Germany or not available.

He might have just said that to get me to use their shop, but I've looked in the A4 archives and only found one mention of an AWD in Southern California.<p>My friend also looked around in the Mitsubishi3000 VR4 community, and nobody there has found any either, except for this one...<p>-Phil
