I am curious. How much more horsepower can you put on a 1.8T without having to get suspension and tire mods- with what chip? The same goes for the 2.8. Can one of you dudes let me know. Thanks.

..."without having to get suspension and tire mods"?<p>None are actually required. Many people have their 1.8T's up to ~180hp with some even to ~225hp. The chip alone will only raise a 2.8 to ~205 (though the figure varies some with manufacturer and phase of the moon ;-). None of these _require_ a new suspension or tires... it's just that the same mindset that caused a person to spend several hundred dollars on some organized silicone will often cause them to drop even more on additional hardware (i.e suspension mods, tires, wheels, etc.)<p>Depends more on the owner and their wallet than anything else.<p>Alex<br>98.5 30v WettQTip (Suspension and tires on the way, but I _like_ the stock wheels!)
