I was watching SpeedVision's coverage of the Ramada International Rally last night, and they had some Audi's (the Sprongl brothers and a few others) and several turbo cars there. I noticed whenever the cars would pass by the cameras, I'd hear a sort of chirping/squeking noise...I thought it was just the suspension creaking or something, but then the announcer went on to say that you can hear the wastegates....was this noise a result of the wastegate opening/closing? How come it's so loud? <p>PS: Man, you can really hear those big turbos wind up...those suckers sound mean!
