I would just go someplace that sells 3M. The tinting is guaranteed at any authorized 3M window tinter across the nation. Look in the Yellow Pages under tint/alarms.

Don't have their name in front of me, tho'...I get them confused because everyplace in town either starts with SOLAR or SUN...I think it is SOLAR CONTROL...
It's off of Old Katy Road just east of Don McGill.
Try calling Don McGill (281-493-1000) & ask for Larry Markowitz. Ask him where they tint their cars (they don't do it inhouse...they use these guys).
When you get their number, you'll have to call & make an appointment. The place looks like a dump, but it was full of brand new Lexus's, M-B's, and Audi's. Tell them that a guy at Don McGill told you to call & said $150 (otherwise it'll be around $200). They use 3M film. I used Panther Black NON-metallic because of the radio/radar reception issue that some folks have warned about, but you could use metallic to cut down more on heat. Takes an hour or two. They'll drive you a few miles (mall nearby) & pick you back up if need be. (if you ask, they'll do it darker than legal...I didn't want police hassle tho').
steve...by tomorrow, I will have looked at my receipt at home & get you a name & phone number, if you don't want to call McGill.

Westside Glass Tinting on Old Katy Rd.
Been going to them for about 10 years - never dissatisfied. They do good work and use 3M film. Need an appointment though... they always seem to be swamped.
