I am somewhat underwhelmed by how long it has taken to get the headlamps from Autobahn Int. I ordered them in mid January, and I have yet to see them. In the meantime they have charged the full amount to my credit card effective on the order date. They said that there is currently a shortage because of a manufacturing glitch by Bosch, but they expect a container full of them any time now. I have been hearing this since Feb. Anyone have any insight into what is going on? Thanks.
Chris

I was also not happy about their practice of charging at time of order rather than at time of shipping. My clear corners came arrived quickly but the sides were on back order. However, they did eventually deliver as promised...in fact, because I followed up so often I received two sets of side makers, one from them and one from their supplier.
I'm confident you'll eventually get what you ordered. I just wish they wouldn't charge until the product is shipped.
Dave
Side-markers (either smoked or clear) should come with new yellow bulbs as the stock bulbs are clear. Corner-markers do not come with new bulbs as the stock bulb is yellow.
Andy Hedin
'97 A4 1.8Tqms, Wett 1.0 Bar Chip, ABT Filter, Euro Headlights...

I don't think (by credit card company rule & Regs) they can bill your account without having shipped the items.

I have the Valeo Euro lights which utilize one H4 bulb in each housing. That one bulb is both the high and low beam. There is no fog light with the Valeo's.
The Bosch Euro lights have the same H7 high, H7 low, H1 fog as the standard DOT lights on the A4.
The Valeo's weren't quite plug and play...they did require minor trimming/filing of one of the connectors. But that only took like ten minutes or so. The Valeo's also include a city light in each housing, but didn't come with the bulbs. I haven't bothered to hook them up yet as I'll have to tap into the turn-signal lights to get them to work. So as long as you don't care about the city lights, they are pretty much plug-and-play.
Andy Hedin
'97 A4 1.8Tqms, Wett 1.0 Bar Chip, ABT Filter, Euro Headlights...
