I installed the LLTek fogs this weekend, and also tried the fog light rewiring modification. I haven't gotten the rewire mod to work yet, but so far the fogs and lights and everything else seems to work fine. The only problem that I've found is that I've lost my one-touch up and down windows. The windows still function fine, I just have to hold the button down. Now, what I don't know is, was it disconnecting the battery that caused the problem, or has this been a problem since I had my dealership reprogram the control module for auto-door locking and remote control of the windows? I thought that the one-touch worked after the control module reprogramming, but I'm not positive. Those that have had this done, does the one-touch windows still work? I had the 16232(?) I believe it was programmed in. Or does disconnecting the battery cause something like this? Any suggestions?
G. Hale
'98.5 2.8 QMS

You must reprogram the windows after disconnecting the battery. It is a very simple process and precise directions are loacted in your manual. It is a very simple process to do yourself, and the dealer would likely charge you for a hour of service if you bring it in.
Stu Koch
99 2.8 qts

Thanks for the response. I though I remembered seeing it in the manual and was going to check there. But I'm at work now, and it was bothering me a little, so I figured I could get a quick response here. Thanks for not posting the RTFM post. The board has been getting a little rude lately.
G.
