Has anyone tried painting the lower body trim to match the body color? Any problems? I realize paint with a flex agent is needed. Can the rubber door molding be painted also? I believe the molding on the A6 is painted and when flexed there is no damage to the paint.

i think the one on the left is much cooler than the one on the right.. The rims are very nice, body kit makes it sport. And the new grill without the audi badge tops it off perfectly..
I bet that car turns heads :)

I've painted the front & rear valances body color, also painted the lower moldings on the doors and the rocker panels.. I had everything painted probably 5 months ago or so, no problems with the paint cracking or peeling..
There are pics on my website..
Yes, I am the guy the people below are speaking of. My problem is that I tried to have it done to a pearl car and they are THE biggest pain to do. Audi pearl is notoriously hard to replicate especially on plastic. My shop did not do a perfect job and I have had it done twice already. But, as far as quality it is awesome. You msut use enoguh flex agent to keep it from peeling, it has actually lasted better than the stock paint as far as chips.
Guedo,
I like my car the way it is, yes Rich's attracts slightly more attention but thats what I did not want to do, I have enough problems, dont need to attract anymore. But yes Rich's is nice!
Chris
