I only drove 1500 miles before I got my chip so the engine wasn't necessarily broken in but I was averaging 26.2MPG before the chip. After the chip and engine break-in, I am consistently getting 28.4MPG at fill up according to the trip computer. The trip computer is not perfect but I have been comparing apples to apples and have seen an improvement with the chip and a broken in engine.
