Just so you know what some of the people look like...I have a pic of a few of us in Camarillo at Neuspeed for the NorCal/SoCal A4 Extravaganza.....
The people are (from left to right):
1) Jason Teller (webmaster/founder A4.org website)
2) Steve Sherwood (NorCal A4 club guy)
3) Sean Griffin (Sean's A4 Page - NorCal A4 Club guy)
4) Jack Thomas (NorCal A4 club guy)
5) Robert Yee (SoCal A4 club guy)
6) Neil McGarry (technical advisor to A4.org - did picture poster/search engine)
7) Matt Daniels (art director on A4.org)
Just thought someone might find it interesting.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
P.S. Sorry...we don't got a pic of Cathleen....we do have a picture of Todd in bed with some other girl...but that is not appropriate here. :-)
If you put together a "Fly Ollie to California" fund, I'll be more than happy to pose with ya guys next time . . . . . (I'll need a wig, of course!)
And what is that non-Audi vehicle doing parked in the Fire Lane, huh?

The blue non-Audi car is a Porsche Boxster owned and driven hard by the folks at European Car Magazine. I have started the Ollie fund....it now has $0.17 in it.... :-)
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
Darn, sunshine, shorts, Boxsters *and* EC magazine.
You guys have it all . . . .
I'm not sure if I can make it to Vegas by car, but I may have a rental if I fly in. Then again, it looks like the Quattro Club is having a Driving School in April in Michigan, so I may go to that one. Either way, I'm ready to do some tire scrubbing!
(At that "Ollie-fund" rate, the interst alone may pay for my flight in time for fossil fuels to run out. So then we can stand around and discuss the new Neuspeed chips for Mountain bikes, along with our geriatric experiences!)

The Bill Clinton Forum would be a better venue perhaps.

Now it's your turn! You need to post a pic of you for the board (next to the A4 so it's legit for this page, of course!) ;)

Ah, but Steve S. has seen my ride! So there's proof!
I'm afraid any postings of my visage may cause the Forum to finally corrupt beyond the point of recovery, and then Jason would have to drive from Toronto to Chicago and beat the tar out of me (he apparently is at least as tall as I am, judging by that picture!).
And I'm too much of a pansy to risk that!
(Although there is a funny picture of me with BIG glasses from years ago at http://www.pinkpank.net/bigo/pix/bigo1.gif . . . . . he, he! Wuahahaha!)

I still haven't developed the pics I took at Road America (yeah, all six of em), and I think there's a shot of you in there. I'll bet I could sell it here to the highest bidder :-) JK
Tom P.
No, that's not my halloween costume!
That's me in front of my old Coupe Quattro. I know the tag says "Audi GT", that was the licence plate on my Coupe GT and i transfered it to my Coupe Quattro until I could get my "Quatro 1" tag.
Christian

He mentioned it in his post...the only difference is his hair is bleached blonde now...and he has black or purple nail polish....would I kid about something as serious as this? He also has a Black 98 1.8TQM....with a chip...I drove it on Wacker Drive...at night...with radar detector on....with him as a passenger. Thanks again Big O!
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

Oh well.
BTW, I'm seriously considering finding a used S4/S6 now that I've been impressed by them on several occasion . . . (<- Audi content). Is that foolish?!?

So now I've gotta look for a private seller that doesn't know what they have (i.e. "S"? Waddaya talking about? It's an Audi, right?).
Seems like the guys on any sort of Quattro list have a pretty good idea that theirs is a unique vehicle.
I gotta do some homework on this so I can figure out if the S6 is actually a better deal that the V8 etc. etc. I admittedly am not as well versed with these cars as with 944s!
(Oh, yeah, I need to move this to another forum, don't I?
Great prices and the exchange rate is killer. There were some posted on the Qlist a few days ago. Also, I've seen old S4s for $20-25K in the US in great shape. I keep looking, but I'm no closer to being able to afford one! :0
Todd W

Hi Cathleen,
When I use up the rest of that film (finally), I'll forward the coveted "Cathleen's Identity--Revealed!!" pic to you before I post it. I would not dare to post a pic that you might find, um, unflattering in some way :-) Hell hath no fury like ...
Besides, the throw-away cameras take fuzzy pics anyhow. It would add to your mystique ;-)
Tom P.
