I washed my A4 this past weekend (it had been 4 weeks- ooops). Anyway, on the hood I found 5-6 small patched of some sort of raised hard blueish material. A few looked like several fine bubbles, one looked like it may have eroded down into clearcoat or paint. My usual mild soap and water approach did nothing to them, and they are still there. I have purchased a fairly stong cleaner (Napa, for garages), and will try this soon. <br>Anyone have any idea what this is? I am garaged both at home and work (same space), and have seen nothing dripping from the ceiling, nor marks on the floor. None of our other cars has this, nor does the roof or trunk of my A4. It's a mystery. Could it have anything to do with the headlight washers? The distribution is right, but these spots look like epoxy, not washer fluid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.<br>John.

I can't imagine what caused it, but try a Meguiar's Clay bar if the cleaner you try doesn't work.
