i've had experience w/ NOS in muscle cars and many conversations with people who've used it in imports.<p>yes, NOS can give huge hp boosts. and it operates on-demand so it doesn't affect day-to-day performance. and it's possible to wire up a nearly invisible system. and it can be for installed by a diy'er for under $400.<p>but...<p>i've seen engines grenaded by overzealous jetting, pistons melted and rods thrown through engine blocks by improperly controlled timing and engine bay fires from improperly plumbed fuel systems.<p>on a daily driver, NOS can add that extra kick that boy-racers love. on the track, it's possible to double an engine's horsepower for the duration of the 1/4 mile.<p>there are a number of different ways to set up a NOS system. contact the technical support lines at Nitrous Oxide Systems in SoCal or at Nitrous Works. they both have websites, too.<p>HTH<p>JamesD<br>99 A4 1.8tqms - not on the bottle<br>71 Chevy Nova - may be someday...<br>
