He says:<p>"that's probably just an internet thing."<p>Someone had posted here that the wastegate problem might be only found on '97 and '98 cars. A comment like that would drive me crazy, especially on the wastegate rod issue. In an ideal world, the dealer would be the most educated party involved. Thanks to A4.org we're in most cases more educated than the dealers.<p>If it weren't for all the info. I am having the same done to mine, only they gave me a brand new A6 loaner. It is nice, but I still like mine better. The only problem with the car is that the lower speaker on the passenger door sounds not good - the bass is distorted.<br>
