I searched the archives to find out how to add chrome window trim to a 1.8T...but couldn't find a posting of anyone who's tried it. <p>So is there anyone out there who's actually tried it? While we were at the Audi production plant 2 weeks ago, I had the opportunity to see this trim installed. While they made it look easy going in, I don't think it's ever going to come off easily, it looked like they were riviting them in place, among other things. <p>I suppose you could do it, but I honestly think you would destroy the trim in the process of taking it off. So "swapping" it would be out of the question, you would have to order totally new trim from your dealer, and I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap.<p>Just my .02 of course.<p>Matt

I'd be concerned about damaging the gutter system which works so well on the A4. A leaky car with more chrome on it? Sounds like an American car to me.<p>Cameron<br>
