Had the hood, trunk, and sides of A4 repaired yesterday through paintless dent repair. Individual making repairs indicated he couldn't figure out how to remove the headliner, as it appears to be folded in a "permanent" fashion around the sunroof. He indicated he had removed a similar headliner in a Mercedes, at a cost of $900.00 after it tore during removal. All other work he did was excellent, so I don't believe this is a competence issue.
Any one have any experience with removing this? Has any one had a Colo dealer do this for them? Any help would be appreciated.
-Todd
98 Silver 1.8tqm (still with speed holes)
83 UrQ

Have Prestige body shop remove the headliner and then drive the car to be repaired, or better yet, have them show up to repair it at the body shop. I know the dent repair guys travel to dealer ships to fix cars on site. HTH.
CraigB
(I dodged the hail...this time)

I don't know how you decide what to drive each day though....I think I would be standing in the garage for 30-60 minutes each morning debating the benefits of each car. This one today...no that one...no, this one....why can't I drive both today...yeah, thats it.
Yes, post a pic, or email me one. Thanks.
P.S. ChristineS on that other board is a coworker of mine...I have been helping her modify her 1.9...Remus/Chip/K&N are our choices so far.
Steve S.
