Correct me if I am wrong...but we haven't had a post...or maybe a visit to this A4 forum, from the following vendors in some time:
1) Mike Hoppen @ Hoppen Motorsports
2) Sunny or .....Pete @ Autobahn International
3) Mark @ Advanced Motorsport Solutions
4) Adrian @ VWSport
5) ???? @ JT Motorsports
6) Jason or Anthony @ Greedspeed
7) Frank Wetterauer @ Wett NA
The only vendors that pop in...or make themselves noticed at all have been:
1) Greg Woo @ Neuspeed
2) Mark Burns @ Clair Parts Express
3) Tony Ricci @ PES
Are these other guys just lurking, or do they not visit here anymore? Good question Steve. (yeah, I'm bored)

Steve S.
97 2.8QM

Mike Hoppen @ Hoppen Motorsports -- haven't talked to him for ages. Don't hear as much about Hoppen lately either.
Sunny or .....Pete @ Autobahn International -- has always been a lurker, will clear up product questions if necessary. Usually has monthly specials, so check their site regularly.
Mark @ Advanced Motorsport Solutions -- seems to be a busy guy, but never did post on the forum much.
Adrian @ VWSport -- Adrian and the other VW Sport guys watch the forum frequently for ideas and to answer questions offline if necessary. New A4.Org advertiser (ya!), nice looking new site.
???? @ JT Motorsports - Never even heard of them being around here.
Jason or Anthony @ Greedspeed -- haven't heard from them much lately, but their new site looks great.
Frank Wetterauer @ Wett NA -- Frank didn't even post during the Wett "upheavel" a few months ago, did he? Steve Pitts and Frank have been quiet on the forum, but are offering a great special to A4.Org readers right now.
Jason

I heard through the grapevine that Wetterauer US was a 'franchise'. Frank Wetterauer bought it back and now owns it. I don't know the circumstances under which this took place and maybe this isn't even the "upheaval' referred to. Just a thought...
By upheaval I meant just that there were some management and ownership changes. But the same basic people are there and the quality of the product, as far as I know, is still top notch.
Jason

.......there seems to be cyclical paranoia here about product manufacturers. BTW, thanks for you support Jason.
As far as I know, Wett is doing just fine. My brother is the Wett-America VP, so I have a little "in" on these matters. There are some exciting things in the pipeline at Wett that I am privy too, but I can't discuss them.
Yes, Steve was a part owner at Wett-America at one time. But, with the arrival of a new baby (his third child), he decided that he no longer had the time or energy to deal with being an owner, which was a very time-consuming
.........anyway, Steve and Wett appear to be doing fine. I'll let you know if there's any trouble in the future. I've been on this board for almost two years so I have lots of loyalty for you guys.
Rick
Here seems to be a perfect opportunity to take a sidetrack from the subject and let you all know that I am personally putting up Wetterauer business in Finland.
Right now I am learning the methods used and already have all the tools and devices needed.
I also have problems reading this forum offen enough to keep up with it. Anyway I'll do my best. You may also ask me if you have anything in your minds about Wetterauer and tuning itself. The ECU's in USA and here in Europe are different so I'm afraid I don't know all the details for you US owners.
Also the major market here will be the TDI's.
Marko Litmanen
A3 1.8T Wett 1.0 bar K&N
