Just wanted to share some experiences with you all. I went on my first long (~700mi) road trip with my 98.5 tqms last weekend. The Neuspeed chip was installed a couple of weeks ago and I was looking forward to using all it could give. (See my post about hp figures: "Neuspeed and RamAir numbers from my personal dyno").
Well it gave a lot. Acceleration is satisfying in all gears, passing is fun let it be on a freeway or a back road. Can not compare it with the stock chip. Still no pinging, hesitation or check engine light.
Some wickedly twisted roads gave me the scene to push the car to the limit, as far as traction goes. (Still did not leave my side of the pavement.) I just love as this car *slides* on all four of its tires when pushed beyond the limit, as opposed to understeer (as my Scirocco would). Lift off foot from gas, and you are back on your rails.
Keeping the car in 3rd gear gave access to instant shootouts from corners. Point at the next curve and shoot: enormous fun! I wish I had the car even lower and stiffer though (stock sport package).
I was coming back from Hill Country on Tuesday. For tens of miles there were only half a dozen cars I saw, no sign of police (heck, there are "villages" of 20 residents or so!), sometimes see the road in front of you a mile ahead, doing 110 was sweet. This is what this car is made for.
Overall milage is 24-25 mpg, Average speed is ~60. The car was pretty loaded.

Just hold off on left-foot braking for a little while :-)

Track event at TWS (College Station TX) March 13-14
