Try not to turn it so far that it reaches the stops.

It sounds similar to the noise I noticed in my steering after about 20k miles. The dealer replaced the ball joints in both front wheels (under warranty) and the problem went away. Power steering fluid was also quite low, but the dealer said that was unrelated.<p>Rich D.<br>98.0 A4 2.8QM
