Anyone know if there will be an Audi A4 Quattro Convertible by the end of '99 for the year 2000? I'm thinking of getting the A4 sometime next year, but thought it could be great topless. I'm waiting patiently, since I don't want the 900 version...but want to make sure I'm not waiting in vain. Also, anyone see the Audi-tt...beautiful car.

Why not get the TT? I don't think the A4 will come in a convertible...they don't even come in a coupe...A3 is the closesest to a coupe...which isn't even here in the States...<p>

I believe that there will not be a convertible version in the current A4 series. There is report that the next generation A4 will have one though. Should be out in 2001. Keep waiting or get the TTS (convertible for TT).

If they were going to build a convertible on the existing A4 platform, it would be available by now. The current A4 has been around since the '96 model year and is due to be replaced in 2000. Maybe the next generation A4 platform will have a convertible option?<p><br>Mick<br>98 2.8qm
