I have searched the archives/FAQ for info on whether or not anyone has added an aftermarket amp in an A4 Avant and have found nothing. Any suggestions? With no rear shelf and no room under the seats, are there any options? Also, are the rear speakers in the Avant the same size as the fronts? Its hard to tell and I found nothing in the FAQ/archive. The outer grills are larger, but that sometimes doesn't mean anything. One last questions - anyone know what the size of the subwoofer is and how it is connected to the system. From what i can tell, it has its own amp, but not sure how its hooked up. Post or e-mail with response. Thanks.

I am adding 2 subwoofers and an after market amp to my 99 avant on monday. ill let you know what happens. I am thinking of replacing the amp in there now with an after market amp too. ill keep you posted.
