Just wondering how much of a difference the throttle body mod made on your cars. Would you say it's on par with a 30V now? What kind of 0-60/quarter mile times are you guys looking at? What kind of HP/Torque gains? Anyway, I was just wondering, don't even own a 12V A4....
Cheers,
-Ash
98.5 1.8TQMS

I have no idea what it does to quarter mile or 0-60 times...since I don't measure those. The main change is the elimination or lessening of the flat spot in the power curve at low rpm. Once the car gets revs up...it is pretty comparable to the 30V in most cases. On the straightaways on the track I could not pass any 30V unless they wanted me to pass. My gas mileage has probably suffered about 1 mpg. Would I do it again, if I had a new 12V car, definitely! The Wetterauer 1.0 bar chip 1.8T boys would be on my tail "bigtime" on the entrance to the straight...I fared much better in the twisties.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
