Has anyone had experience with the service departments at DC area dealerships and their attitudes toward chipped A4s? Are some dealers more tolerant than others?

AD 10-29-1998, 09:29 AM No, not yet - I'm still waiting for my car.
If you find out, please make sure to post it, I'm sure a lot of people would love to know.
Andrei madman 10-29-1998, 01:18 PM Based on a non-scientific phone call to the Audi guy at each.
MH. Steve R 10-29-1998, 05:08 PM I just move from Alexandria to Indianapolis :( but Heishmans service my 1.8TQMS Neu. They knew it was chipped and had no problem with it. If you get them off in a corner, will even tell you to go with Hoppen. I even had one salesman offer to have it done for me as long as I wouldn't hold them responsible. HBL seemed ignorant to the whole matter which, on second thought, might be a plus. Talk to the guys at VW Sport in Alexandria. They are well versed in A4s and will put you on the right track.
|
