View Full Version : My fuel gauge has LOST IT'S MIND!!!

Oh geez!!! The last couple times I've filled up, the gauge hasn't shown that the tank was all the way full After driving a bit, I would notice that the gauge would just kinda go whereever. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I never thought much of it because my 325is has always done the same thing. But TODAY!!!! I COULD actually see the gauge MOVING UP DOWN UP DOWN UP DOWN!!!! Fast and nonstop!!! From E to F, from E to F. ARGHHH!!!!!! I CAN'T STAND IT!!!! <p>Mike

They seem to be a fairly frequently replaced part. I'm guessing about $1000 every time a gas guage, trip computer LED, or something else goes wrong?

There all rebuilt now anyway,so the price is probably approaching reasonable.There are quite a few different ones let me know which one u have I`ll look it up.

Took a look at work today they average about 325.00 retail for a rebuilt inst cluster.
