I would like express my appreciation to all of those of you that took a few minutes out of your day to respond to my posting of yesterday (10/28/98) concerning "Audi Build Quality". I was quite surprised at the number of responses. Your experiences and opinions have largely reinforced my positive expectations for my new 2.8 QMS, even though a few gremlins might be expected. In this case your input has reinforced an old adage, "There ain't no free lunch". If you want the positives that the A4 has to offer, the price may be having to deal with a few (hopefully) "bugs".<p>There is one thing, though, of which I am now certain. Based on the constructive interest so many of you showed in responded to my inquiry, I feel I can safely say that only the nicest people can be met behind the wheel of an Audi.<p>Thanks again,<p>Steve Smith<p>P.S.<br>Dealer informed me yesterday that my new A4 was through production on 10/26/98.
