I just got a nasty but small chip out of my back bumper by somebody's licence plate screw. Any good body shops in the Toronto area for minor work. Thanx.

My scratches were pretty bad (also from licence plate screws), so they had to take the bumper off, sand and paint it, then cure it in the oven. Looks good as new. All that cost me about $240 Cdn. The estimate was for $340 but it took less time than expected.
Good Luck.
-Ash
98.75 Silver 1.8TQMS Ash 10-29-1998, 09:28 AM
I got my rear bumper fixed up at my dealer (Bramgate Volkswagen Audi in Brampton). I saw the accident and ran after him. Anyway he owns a body shop a claims he can repair the bumper invisibly overnight. I believe that this can be done. Obviously the bodyshop at the Dealership will want you to spent the max and do a perfect job but if it only costs you $50 isn't that better? It will get hit again!! Check back with me early next week - I'm dropping the car off on Monday night.
GK
1998.5 2.8 30v Q 5spd
P.S. Someone recommended to me to use the 3M stick on coating to help protect the bumper from the minor bangs. |
