I was behind another A4 this morning, and for the first time I noticed that the center brake light either has 4 bulbs in it or at least 4 "bright spots" so that it almost looks like they were trying for a "4 rings" effect. I assume that this is no accident. Has this been commented on before and have I just been my typical unobservant self? Or was I just not fully awake?<p> Doug G<br> 98 1.8TQM

I checked the micro film and there are 4 bulbs in the 3rd brake light but when I check with Audi no one could say if it was on purpose or not.

We were talking about this yesterday or the day before. Someone was trying to really accentuate the fact that there are 4 light in the center brake lamp. They were going to put 4 black rings on a sheet of vellum (or other material) and place it over the brake light to maxmize the effect.<p>Also discussed marketing them in the A4.org store.
