Driving home from getting my 5K service yesterday I had that strange feeling that something was "missing" but I couldn't figure out what. Then I realized that they had greased the driver's seat track to eliminate my "squeaky seat" complaint. For months I have been hearing that "squeak-squeak" whenever I shifted gears or applied the brakes. I got used to it, so when it went away the car was almost too damn quiet! They also did something with some felt around the glove box and the passenger-side dash rattle is gone.<p>My A4's almost perfect again...<p> Doug G<br> 98 1.8TQM

Just had my 5000 mi service, and they lubed the seat tracks in response to my complaint about the squeaking. Did the trick perfectly.<p>Erik
