Just wanted to say thanks to A4.org - been following this forum for a year and a half<br>in lurk mode (since 6 years of grad school instilled a disbelief that I would ever get to own<br>such a machine :-), and I finally made the dream a reality a week ago - Melange/Ecru/Advance 2.8 QTip with the Sport Package. Besides feeding my love of "analysis paralysis" y'all have<br>enabled my transition from "Camry Boy" to "A4 owner." And I am diggin' it.<p>Hmmm... now I gotta get that A4.org hat, look into the Chicago area A4 club, make that long overdue contribution to Jason... and maybe post once in a while, now that I have something to say....<p>(yet another) Steve

My gradschool nightmares aren't that often, but boy are they vivid :-)<p>Tip decision was mainly due to always having driven automatics. I borrowed a<br>friend's manual VW, took it out regularly for a couple of weeks, and concluded<p>a) yes, I could get the hang of it it in a short time<p>b) the hang of it was not necessarily that appealing.<p>I just decided to be secure in my manhood/automatichood. So far I have enjoyed<br>using the Tip, though - I can choose the gear I want, which is enough for me. But<br>then, I've been Camry Boy for so long that my senses may be dulled :-)<p>saj<br>
