Just picked up my A4 from the dealer's body shop where I had to get hood repainted from scratches and lo and behold they had managed to get the hood release latch caught under the grill fin/bottom of the Audi logo ring on the inside side of the grill. I don't think they'll be able to fix it w/o breaking something to get the hood open, which I imagine has to be done in order to remove the grill. Since I can't call them until tomorrow, anyone got any ideas on whether or not they'll have to break something to fix it?<p>Also, [surprise!] I don't think my alignment was corrected as I requested when I took it in for its 30,000 mi. service concurrently with the paint work. I wonder what else wasn't done? (the only reason I was opening the hood in the first place; wouldn't it have been nice if I did not open my hood until I had a mechanical failure-like reason to open it; also, BTW, the 30k service took them Mon.-Wed. to finish since they did not start it until late on Tue.)

My dealer lost my leather stick shift, they got me another.
