I noticed that my last post was cross-posted so I'll mention that little piece of info here. These pads are Rotex - not Rofren. I got them from Brake Warehouse, not Brake Parts Warehouse that advertizes here. You may reach Brake Warehouse at 1-800-814-0702. The full set cost me $125 USD. I got these pads to hopefully eliminate the dust problems. I ordered them long before Raybestos were available.
Installation was a piece of cake (per FAQ). I've never done a brake job/install before this attempt.
OK, now for the new info/update: I've had the pads on for almost a week now. I didn't use brake quiet, should have on the front at least. I'll be doing that this weekend! The brake feel/performance? In light rain, I noticed no difference. They do definitely bite earlier. Is this because they are new (thicker) pads than the stock ones (4300 miles)? And they seem to bite just a little bit stronger than stock but I may just want to believe that they do. :) So, all in all, I'd say performance is the same as stock. Dust? With the rain we've had here in San Antonio, I didn't wash the wheels before or after installing the Rotex. The wheels were only moderately dirty. They have gotten no dirtier, and I KNOW they would have been nearly black by now. I'll post a more definitive post on the dust issue in the future. All in all, I am happy with them and will be fully satisfied after ridding them of the squeal.

Question: How do you intend to rid your brake pads of squeal? You mention "brake quiet", is that a product that you put on the pads or something?
I'm sick of brake dust and squeal myself, and trying to decide what to do about it.
