Does anyone know what the respective changes in boost are for the common (ie. MTM, Wett, TAP etc) aftermarket 'stage 1' chips are? I'm interested in finding out which is most efficient in increasing power for the boost increase.

I just purchased a "new" 98.5 loaded 1.8TQuattro. My dealer cost was 27,7K and invoice was 30-31K. I was in the same shape, new w/4K. Since it was a demo I got it for $23.5K You shouldn;t pay invoice because it has already depreciated. your Audi dealer has to sell it because it is costing them money everyday. They dont get holdback like most dealers do and they have to sell it to get a new Audi from AoA. They should be willing to make you a real deal on the car. I am in Atlanta and this dealer was unloading all of the 98's for these reasons. They advertised similar equipped 2.8 for 25.5K. Hope that helps.
