It was as fast as it looks! Suspension is custom but next on the wish list is the brakes & engine mods. Ooooooh would it be cool to find the money to build a 300hp engine for it! I think I'll go buy a lottery ticket for tonight's drawing! ;)
-C.
Hey there Cat, Just wondered what you looked like and was hoping I would be able to catch a glimpse of you from the pics you post, but I guess not! Oh well, such is life.
Albert

The full A! body kit doesn't look too terribly overdone in this shot. It helps that red cars are gaudy to begin with, of course. :-)
-- David F.
1.8TqMS <-- replaced a red BMW
E30 325is

I could undertsand a trade for a 328I or M3, but what were you thinking!
You lost credibility in my opinion as the older 325 does not even compare to a new A4.
Doug Hanson
98.5 A4 2.8QSTip etc.

My apoligizes.
I am baby sitting my three year old who has tansalitus and been throwing up this evening. My mind is a bit scattered.
Interestingly, I won a 98.5 Santorin Blue with Ronal R28s just like the pitcture on the home boy page. My three year old saw it and said "daddy's car." What great taste for a three year old.

HA! This thread has gotten to be a scream. And speaking of screaming, if a 3-year-old's vomiting on you, stay clear of your keyboard! :-)
Anyway, the deal is that I've owned BMWs for years, and I STILL own a 1987 (E30) BMW 325is that is prepped for club racing, but immobile in my garage at the moment :-(
I replaced a leased 1995 E36 BMW with my leased 1998 A4 as my daily driver. Even a complete moron would have to admit the Audi is MUCH more appropriate in Colorado winters.
Now, I've clarifed all that and hopefully earned back some credibility with my fellow "poster kids.
-- David F.
1.8TqMS
E30 325is
P.S. You didn't even ask about my wacky alias username and e-mail address (need an FAQ)!

I spent 7 years with a grey metallic Honda and it bored me to near death! Talk about stealth, I blended in with the concrete so well, people were always cutting me off because they couldn't see me!
Boring, maybe, but also less visible (from painful, personal experience) to the long arm of the you-know-what. Actually, every car I've ever owned has been either:
1. Metallic colors: silver (2 cars), gold (1 car), or grey (1 car), or
2. Bright Red (3 cars).
Speaking of those Hondas, I traded in a red 1988 Honda Prelude Si on a gold 89 (my last Japanese car) JUST TO TRY TO KEEP MY LICENSE FROM BEING SUSPENDED.
Obviously, I love red, and was just trolling like the borderline sociopath that I am! :-)
-- David F.
1.8TqMS
E30 325is
P.S. BTW, the first purely aesthetic upgrade I've EVER done is clear corners/sides on my A4!

Oh? We aren't talking model Ts here- and current A4 is showing signs of age as well.

I had to email BigO, who apparently visited Elkhart Lake and maybe saw you in action, to find out the truth on this one as well. Definitely got me to thinkin.....
After I saw BigO's painted fingernails, I thought anything was possible.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
Sorry, but I just was trying to keep the subject on the A4!
It's kind of embarrassing and I really hate pictures of myself anyway! (The only ones I like were from about a year ago when I was still blonde). I went back to natural/med. brown after spending most of my life as a blonde & I'm not feeling as fun and spunky these days. Although, it is nice not having people assume I'm an airhead because of the color of my hair!
This subject is not for this page anyway.
Back to the A4s guys! ;)
