<br>I have just ordered a 99 1.8tqms after a long battle with my self. I am another honda convert coming off an 89 legend V6 5speed. This car has over 220000 miles with a great reliability record. I decided on the 1.8t because of the potential hp gains. I haven't driven any chipped vechiles and the dealer did not want to even aknowledge my questioning about the use of a chip. (although there is a very nice lowered, exhausted 1.8 with rims and I would assume at least a chip upgrade that a mechanic drives on the lot.) <br>So I am planning on chipping as soon as the engine is broken in. I am however very concerned about the potential problems with the warranty. I am considering purchasing another CPU so that I can swap when needed. How much can I expect to spend for another unit? Can anyone tell me of any warranty friendly Audi dealers in and around CT?<p>Also one last thing. Neuspeed or Wett 1.0 pros and cons appreciated. Thanks

Jamie, What part of CT are you in.
