Anybody going? I got the info from gary@ronal (thx gary!) and had some more questions. In the description it states that it is not a racing school, which is fine. But it also states that it is a family event. If I go I will be mostly likely be by myself, no family or friends. So being a 24yr old male with no family will I be bored? Email me<br>and we can talk further...Yes, lots of track time...with instructor in<br>car...and if you have experience probably go solo second day if<br>you desire..(depending on how you are doing in the race organizers<br>eyes...and in the eyes of the instructors watching you).<br>Pahrump is 63 miles from Vegas...so we will probably have a<br>short road trip down there for one of the nights.<p>Steve S.<br>97 2.8QM

24 yr. old Jeff:<br>This is a Drivers school that is held on a race track and people will be grouped according to ability with most having instructors. It is designed to allow the driver to become aware of the individual characteristics of driving their OWN car in a controlled manner. Yes it is on a track and you can go faster if you choose, but it is designed for safety first along with some, hopefully, good instruction.<p>The reason I stated a family event, is that usually these events are only fun for the participants!! Las Vegas offers activities for everyone and families are their main focus. Besides, perhaps while one person is driving the other can enjoy some of the sights of Las Vegas, relax, or partake in some of the surrounding areas. We will, hopefully, also offer shuttles to the track, so that spouses don't have to get up at 6am and stay at the track all day--usually bored!<p>Furthermore, Pahrump, at one time--was considered the best 'brothel city in the US". Naturally a while ago.<p>I'm sure there are plenty of "things" to keep you or anyone else occupied in Las Vegas. It is know as the entertainment capital in US.--Besides--after a full day at the track--it usually takes quite a bit out of you. Even if you're only 24.<p>Hopefully you'll go and have fun--not only driving but in anything else.<br>Gary.
