Two questions which are unrelated.
1) Is there anything that can be done to cut down on the wind noise by the drivers door (very aparent above 65mph). Maybe I am being picky but this has driven me crazy for the year I have owned the A4 Q with sport package. Is it coming from the mirror or somewhere else?
2) Is it my imagination or are the Dunlops Audi used with the sport package noisy? It seems especailly apparent from the rears over 70mph. I am thinking of a wheel / tire combo upgrade anyway so if I could kill two birds with one stone????
Thanks

Hi Richard,
I'm having the same noise problem like you're suffering. Except my noise problem (wind, tire) occurs much sooner at 50MPH. On top of this, rattles from driver window and back seats. AoA and Audi dealer just don't believe (or acknowledge) this problem. I have one last shot trying to get the dealer fixing the problem. You can find many other A4 owners are complaining about the very same problem. If you get your noise problem fixed, please let me know how. Appreciate very much!
2K-mile 98.5 A4 2.8

I have the same problem with wind noise. I would never have leased the car based upon the amount of noise I have. Demo units I drove 7-8 times did not have the problem. I have the Quattro 2.8 with sport package. This noise plus the minor squeaks and rattles from seatbelt and arm rest are really bothersome. Car is 2 months old and is far worse than my two year old Honda Prelude or 3 year old Nissan Maxima. Let me know if you come up with a solution.

I've been back to the dealer 6 times in 8 months for a clicking sound that comes from the bottom of the A-pillar/dashboard juncture. Last week the driver's door developed a noise that sounds like the car is really twisting. I'm ready to drive this thing in front of a bus and get the new 3 series. If anyone even knows of an tuner that will take time to fix this problem I will drive to where-ever he is. HELP.
98.5 18TQSM
