I had the windshield wiper on the driver side go bad yesterday. What happens is when I turn them on the passenger wiper acts normal, however the driver side barely moves and usually hits the passenger and they both get stuck in the middle of the windshield. Anyone have any idea what is wrong? If so what is the easist fix; dealer, self fix, or garage. The car is under the audi assured warranty so is it covered under the warranty.
Thanks,
Andrew

If it's still under warranty, then by all means have it fixed under warranty. That's what you paid for...
No point in wasting your time or money on something that you don't need to.
Hopefully it won't take too long so you won't be without your baby for more than a day...
-Phil

The wipers are usually connected by a bar so if the passenger side was working, that means either the driver side is just loose where it connects on the teeth of the wiper thingymagig :-), or the teeth themselves are stripped.
