I really like the look of the Ecru-Onyx Ambiente interior in leather. However, I'm wondering what external colors look best with it. Colors I'm attracted to are:<p>Black (beautiful, but hot and high maintainance)<br>Silver<br>Santorin Blue (also probably a little high maintainance)<br>Brilliant Yellow<br>The S4 Blue Color (if I could get it)<p>Add any additional colors you like that you think would look good!<p>Let me know what you think,<p>DD

...but I've heard on more than one occasion about this 'Ecru/Onyx' interior. I've been to a few dealerships and they have no clue what I'm talking about. What does it look like, exactly??

The dashboard, carpeting, and plastic portions of the door are black, with ecru (light beige, eggshell, whatever you want to call it) leather for the seats and door inserts. The headliner and package shelf are also the light color.<p>I like the sharpness of the contrast, while the cabin still feels light and airy.

On page 3 of this forum, in the thread "What's with these options in this picture??".<br>The picture appears to be an Ecru/Blue interior. The Ecru/Onyx looks the same, <br>except that the blue is a dark gray, almost black. I suspect the reason no one at the dealer seemed to know what the Ecru/Onyx is is that you order Ecru and the dark color supplied depends on the body color (I'm going to guess that the car in the picture above was some shade of blue). <p>I agree with another poster here that the Ecru seats and highlights make the interior feel roomier than it is.
