Anyone have the Hoppen/MTM chip and exhaust (stage II) combo? My friend is waiting for his stuff and is curious if this stuff is REALLY going to make that much of a difference. I have stage 1+ (approx. 190hp) & I can tell you it makes a substantial difference. The real question, (in the light of current developments), is where to go from here?!!

Don't worry man!! your friend made a good choice! i have the ABT Stage 2 set up (215hp) and it was a real big diffrence!!! a stage 2 chip of any brand make the car pull and rev like a roaring beast. your frined will be surprised and will have a grin from ear to ear for a long time.<p>1.8TQMS ABT II, Oettinger Exhaust.

Larry, i have MTM stage 1 w/ K&N as well, but I think the cost on the Stage 2 upgrade is rediculous so I am going for a different exhaust system! They want nearly 1800 for the exhaust upgrade when I can buy either HKS Klasse or Remus much CHEAPER!!!!

<br>Yeah but MTM exhaust is full stainless and includes a resonator and muffler and front connection pipe, plus at no charge th ECU is reprogrammed to take advantage of the exhaust. HKS and Remus are aluminized, dont have a resonator and you basically hack off your stock exhaust from right in front of the resonator and weld on the aftermarket one.<p>I say you get what you pay for.
