I spoke with my salesman today about the new enhancements to the '99 midyear A4. He copied me a list of the changes. I was aware of most of them from this board, but hadn't seen some of the things listed. These may or may not have already been posted, but here goes:
- New Headlights (C5 style)
- Foglights moved to the lower front bumper
- New Taillights
- C5 outer door handles
- New rear deck lid (Avant only)
- Washer jets removed from the hood
- Revised outside mirror shape
- B-pillar trim in high gloss material
- New CD Changer (as on C5)
- White side turn indicators
- Aluminum door sill trim with Audi script
- Revised center console and climate control panel
- Power passenger seat w/power lumbar support for both (2.8 models only)
- Dampened grab handles in headliner and rear light modules
- Ambient lighting in headliner for dash and center console (looks like Audi's been reading StanJ's postings)
- Illuminated air vent controls
- Steering wheel in dashboard color
- Revised grille
- Revised cupholders
- Revised toolkit (as on C5)
- Interior upholstery / trim changes
- Larger C5 sunroof
G. Some of the specs on the homepage are Euro spec, such as when it mentions glass headlights, which the US will not receive, so I'm guessing that the report was information from Euro spec A4's. I just didn't know if all of that was finalized for the US, 'cause sometimes it takes a year or so for us to get the changes.
Also, many of the changes that I listed are not on the page at all, such as the ambient lighting and power passenger seat.
Also, check the images. They didn't load for me when I followed the link on the homepage. I may have followed the wrong link, so I may be posting another OOPS! post. :-)

Now the images are there with a different homepage. That page wasn't there when I checked a minute ago. Nice job. Even includes changes which was not listed on the dealer sheet..... if they make it to the US.
I have seen the same list you have in a Audi memo marked "confidential" to a major US dealer. The changes for the US are supposely finalized for 1999.5 - 2000.I don't think it is a secret. Yhe changes on the home page are for the cars in Germany(see Audi World Site A4 changes dated end of OCT 98. I think the facts are out. Raslity is we will not see the car on the home page in 1999.
