Hello:<p>I have a late model 1.8TQM w/ Neuspeed chip. When I floor the accelerator and have the sunroof open, I can smell my exhaust fumes. They smell rather sulfuric, like a cold Honda. (Previosuly had one) Anyone experienced something similiar with any chip, including Neuspeed? that I can think of...<p>1) you have a tank of low grade/quality fuel that you engine is burning. Did you just switch brands?<p>2) bad/damaged cat converter...(rotten egg smell). Though this is rare with a relatively new car. Possible over fill motor oil? <p>Hope this helps.<p>Cris

Chevron - 92, today filled up with Shell - just to try a different kind of gas.<p>If it were the cat, shouldn't I smell this with light throttle too? Also shouldn't the check engine light be on?<p>Tomasz
