Today received Sport IC from TAP by Fed Ex. If looks count, this thing should work great, It's a highly polished one-piece aluminum ( Tig welded ? ) affair that came with no attachment hardware. If this is the Spearco ( sp? ) unit, I'm surprised, because it looks like a custom one-off. <p>If you look beneath your left headlamp unit, you can follow the s-shaped exit hose from the intake manifold down to the IC. There seems to be a top segment ( past the top hose clamp ) that is non-metal, maybe ABS or something, which is crimp-seamed to the IC unit. Behind the top of the IC, there's a flange with two support grommets, but I felt around the back of it for an attachment nut or something and couldn't feel anything. I'm guessing you'd also need to remove the bottom airfoil to access the bottom attachment points and air feeder hose. But after that, this should be an easy DIY for anyone with any tool skills at all.<p>Me, I just recovered from hitting myself in the mouth with a hammer ( the CLAW end ), so I'm having my speed shop do it, natch !!<p>Donnie ( Fat Lip )<p>PS - I will post a pic of both units side-by-side for comparison.
