Sportier look
5. cleaner look
Just curious....obviously very personal DaveL 01-18-1999, 04:11 AM John Costin 01-18-1999, 05:20 AM when they try to figure out what kind of car it is. I had someone ask me "What kind of brand is Quattro? I've never heard of it," when they saw the quattro badge inside the car (I took that off too from the front and back). My answer was, "It's no one's brand. I had the car custom made," while trying to keep a straight face. I just think it's fun. vik 01-18-1999, 05:56 AM MichaelB 01-18-1999, 06:53 AM I think it looks very clean. I took the badges off the back, but left the Audi rings.
To balance things off, I added Yosemite Sam "Back Off" mudflaps. ;-)
Mike sk 01-18-1999, 09:53 AM I have a Santorin 1.8Tm, and those cheap-looking, chrome-immitation plastic letters really looked tacky. The car looks much, much better with rings only.
Jah-Wren Ryel 01-18-1999, 02:58 PM 6. Helps to confuse the auto thieves
7. Prefer not to tell the world that I've got a lot of money. However, those of us who prefereed an engine with many more upgrade possibilities and limitless potential choose the 2.8.
Just my .02
-Stu Koch
99 2,8 |
