Just had my car back to the dealership for my 5K service and I had my ECU reprogrammed to do one-touch lock/unlocking, remote window control, and 15-mph locking of doors. Anyway, I was coming home the other night and my driver's side door fell open!<p>It was the wierdest thing. It opened to the latched, but not closed position (similar to if you don't shut your door hard enough), dome light came on, warning bell sounded and DOOR STAYED LOCKED. I haven't been able to simulate this because the driver's door CANNOT be locked if it is not in the closed position. I physically pulled to the side of the road to assess the situation... because I knew I wasn't going crazy.<p>I spoke with the regional manager for AoA today at the car show about this and he said for me to take it back to my dealer to have it checked out. Can anyone explain how this happened or has anyone had anything similar happen? Am I the only one that this has happened to?
